Welcome to City of Recovery Press - an independent publisher with an eye for daring, weird and brilliant fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
CoRP is a young company, but we are intent on changing the face of literature. We are currently working with some of the best minds of our generation to bring the public the sort of groundbreaking literature that has not been seen in several decades.
We were founded in 2007 and since then have been publishing Beatdom magazine. Recently we have released one book of poetry, and have several other projects scheduled for release through 2010 and 2011.

The wait is over... Beatdom #6 is finally here!
The sixth issue of Beatdom is a travel-themed one, exploring the links between the Beats and travel. We have essays, memoirs and short stories all relating to this theme.
We also have never-before-published work by Alene Lee - Mardou Fox from Jack Kerouac's The Subterraneans, and an interview with British hip-hop star Scroobius Pip.

Beatdom has a new blog!
Our old one will continue to run for a few months before being shut down. We find WordPress far better than Blogger and will now be using www.beatdommag.wordpress.com to keep you up to date.
